敝人研究領域包括非線性控制、適應控制、影像追蹤與伺服、磁浮系統控制、機電整合、機器人理論與應用、生產系統自動化與排程，家庭自動化、與電子商務。
Research Summary
Research interests included Nonlinear Control, Adaptive Control, Visual Tracking and Servo, Magnetic Levitated System Control, Mechatronics, Robotics Theory and Applications, Automation & Scheduling of Production System, Home Automation and E-commerce.
臺灣大學電機系學士（1981），美國加州大學柏克萊分校電機、電腦系碩士、博士（1985, 1987）。
現任臺灣大學電機系、資工系教授，IEEE Fellow，同時為《亞洲控制學刊》總編輯。
研究領域包括：非線性控制、適應控制、影像追蹤與伺服、磁浮系統控制、機電整合、機器人理論與應用、醫療機器人開發與研製、智慧生活空間、生產系統自動化與排程與智慧家庭。
曾任國立臺灣大學主任秘書，IEEE 機器人及自動化學會行政委員會委員，中華民國自動控制學會理事長。
曾獲得十大傑出青年(1999)、國科會Outstanding Research Award(1990-1993)， 國科會Distinguished Research Awards (1995, 1998, 2000)，中國電機工程學會傑出教授獎(1995)、教育部傑出優良教師(1994)、李國鼎穿石獎(2000)、傑出產學合作獎(2004)及東元科技獎(2005)。
